About the Author

I’m Alex van Wyst. That’s “Wyst” as in “heist”, not “Wist” as in “fist”.

I’m the author behind the Rhetta Cur Mysteries, among many other less-polished (and therefore less-published) works.

I have many interests and the injuries to prove it. I work long hours at the day job, do a lot of DIY stuff around the house, and constantly chauffeur my kids to ever more exotic sporting venues. In between I sometimes even write stuff!

I enjoy reading in a wide variety of genres, hiking and recreational bicycling, travel when I can afford it, playing hockey and disc golf, and coding amateur adventure games.

I also live with three cats. Who owns whom is up for debate.
